It's all over! Lady Gaga and Taylor Kinney end romance after five years of dating

Pop superstar Lady Gaga is reportedly back on the market after ending her five-year romance with Chicago Fire actor Taylor Kinney. TMZ reports that the couple split earlier this month.

While it is still unknown who ended the relationship, the celebrity news sites notes that the American Horror Story: Hotel star was seen in Malibu without her engagement ring last week, on what would have been Kinney's 35th birthday. She is no longer following him on Instagram.

The one-time lovebirds started dating in 2011 after meeting on the set of her music video You and I, where he played the man of her dreams. Their relationship hit the rocks in in May 2012, but true love prevailed and they got back together a month later.

"'I look up to a strong woman, maybe that's why I fell for Gaga. She works incredibly hard and is very strong and inspirational like my mom, with a great work ethic," Taylor once gushed.

Kinney popped the question on Valentine's Day last year with heart-shaped diamond engagement ring . The Bad Romance singer confirmed the news on her Instagram account, telling fans: "He gave me his heart on Valentine's Day, and I said YES!"

While Gaga appeared besotted whenever she talked about her partner, a wedding date was never announced.

The couple are the latest to pay a visit to splitsville following the the break-ups of Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris and Joshua Jackson and Diane Kruger.
