Langley Mill fatal blaze: 3 local Derby men charged with triple murder
Derbyshire Police have charged three men with murder following a house fire in Langley Mills in which two 17-year-olds and a baby girl all perished.
Amy Smith, her six-and-a-half-month-old daughter Ruby-Grace Gaunt and family friend Edward Green died in the early hours of Sunday 21 June when the blaze ripped through the flat in North Street.
Today police announced that three men from the area have been charged with murder.
In a statement police said: "Police have charged three people with murder following the fatal flat fire in Langley Mill.
Peter Eyre (43) and Anthony Eyre (21), of Central Avenue, Sandiacre and Simon Eyre (24), of New Tythe Street, Long Eaton have each been charged with three counts of murder.
The father and two sons are due before magistrates in Chesterfield on Friday, 26 June .
A 17-year-old, also arrested on suspicion of murder, has been released on bail. He is from Long Eaton."
