Lego Dimensions sees Michael J Fox and Christopher Lloyd reprise their Back To The Future roles
Michael J Fox and Christopher Lloyd are returning to their iconic Back To The Future roles in Warner Bros' upcoming Lego Dimensions. They form part of an all-star cast which includes Chris Pratt voicing both his Lego Movie and Jurassic World characters, and Peter Capaldi as the 12<sup>th Doctor.
The Doctor Who star will be joined by Jenna Coleman as Clara Oswald and Michelle Gomez as Missy (aka, the latest incarnation of The Master). Likewise Pratt will be joined by Jurassic World co-stars Bryce Dallas Howard and Irrfan Khan, and Lego Movie co-stars Elizabeth Banks, Alison Brie, and Charlie Day.
An official press release also mentions that actors from The Simpsons (including Hank Azaria), Lord Of The Rings (Sean Astin), Scooby Doo (Matthew Lillard), and Ghostbusters will feature as well.
Gary Oldman will also play the game's villain – a character created specifically for the game called Lord Vortech. He'll be joined by Community star Joel McHale as X-PO – a robot who guides players through Lego Dimensions' crazy world of licensed properties.
Also lending their voices to the game are Ellen McLain and Stephen Merchant as Portal robots GLaDOS and Wheatley, as well as Troy Baker and Tara Strong, who will be playing Batman and Harley Quinn in the game's DC Universe sections.
Warner Bros have released a new trailer which introduces a number of cast members and offers a glimpse of some of the performances. You can watch the video below.
Lego Dimensions is the Danish toy company's first entry in the booming toys-to-life genre and brings 14 fan-favourite franchises together in a story which will see Batman team up with Gandalf, Marty McFly team up with the Doctor (or indeed, any of the 12 Doctors), and many other possibilities. The game will be released on PS4, Xbox One, Wii U, PS3 and Xbox 360 on 27 September.
