As Leicester City were crowned Premier League champions on Monday night, Jamie Vardy had his party and delivered one final dig at Tottenham Hotspur and Harry Kane.

The Foxes celebrated their staggering league triumph after watching Spurs surrender a two-goal lead to Chelsea to draw 2-2 at Stamford Bridge on Monday 2 May. Vardy, hosting the celebrations with his teammates at his own home, was quick to remind Kane of a post made on Instagram two weeks ago.

With Tottenham's own league title hopes still very much alive at the time following a 4-0 thrashing of Stoke City on 18 April, Kane shared the image, confident his side could hunt down the Foxes.

But amid being bundled by his delirious teammates upon last night's confirmation of their league success, Vardy responded by tweeting a picture of the Lion King's Mufasa falling off a cliff, a not-so-subtle nod to Kane's post which collected more than 80,000 retweets in the next five hours.

The Leicester squad got together to watch Chelsea finally end Tottenham's hopes of catching the league leaders, with the jubilant scenes captured on video by defender Christian Fuchs.

Captain Wes Morgan shared a video of himself being dragged around Vardy's kitchen floor, as you do, while Danny Simpson, Andy King, Danny Drinkwater and Player of the Season Riyad Mahrez all found a second to post their reactions.
