Leicester City will need to make home advantage count against Atletico Madrid in the second leg of the Champions League quarter-final on 18 April.

Where to watch live

Kick-off is set for 7.45pm BST. The game will be broadcast live on BT Sport 2.

Overview

Leicester City warmed-up for the visit of Atletico Madrid by playing out a 2-2 draw at Crystal Palace on 15 April. The last British team left in the Champions League will have to beat Atletico by two clear goals to progress after Antoine Griezmann scored the only goal of the first leg in Spain last week.

Nampalys Mendy and Molla Hague are both sidelined through injury for the hosts, while Wes Morgan (back) and Islam Slimani (groin) are doubts. Centre-back Robert Huth is suspended.

Yannick Carrasco's double powered Atletico to a 3-0 win over Osasuna in La Liga at the weekend, extending the Madrid club's unbeaten run to 10 matches in all competitions. Diego Simeone's side are unbeaten in their last five games against English opposition.

Sime Vrsaljko and Augusto Fernandez (both knee) will not feature due to injury.

What managers say

Craig Shakespeare: "There are no free games in football and we are not here to make up the numbers, we're here to have a right go – that will be the first message. Yes, you want footballers to enjoy it and play with a smile on their face because that is when you get the best out of them, but we also need to be smart and alert to all the things it takes to win a match." Diego Simeone: "Leicester are in decent form and in the last six or seven games they have been back to doing what they did last season. Because of our qualities and theirs too, in some respects we are very similar. It will not be too different from the game in Spain – a hard game with a narrow scoreline, decided on small details."
