LG G3: Demo Unit Spotted in Korean Store Ahead of Launch
LG G3 has for long been in the spotlight of smartphone market owing to its innumerable leaks including press renders, live handset images, official accessories and specifications.
Now the latest leak via GSMArena reveals screenshots of a demo unit for the G3 that has been spotted in a Korean store, ahead of its launch.
The leaked photos reconfirm rumoured specifications of the G3 including ultra-thin bezels, revamped back buttons on the G2, relocated USB port, 3.5mm audio jack and IR blaster.
Also, one cannot miss its predominantly colourful default wallpaper shown off in one of the screenshots (above).
The other rumoured specifications of the G3 point to a power-packed hardware configuration including a 5.5in IPS QHD display, a quad-core processor powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 chipset, 3GB of RAM and 3,000 mAh removable battery.
On the camera front, the G3 is speculated to feature a 13 megapixel rear camera with Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS) and a 2.1 MP front camera for video calls.
As far as connectivity options are concerned, it is expected to come with USB 2.0, Bluetooth 4.0 LE and NFC capability.
The G3 is said to run on the new Optimus UI out of the box and support QHD resolution display (2560 x 1440 pixels) with an IPX7 rating (water-resistant) for its body and screen.
In related news, LG has recently showcased the G3 in its official teaser video featuring the 13 megapixel sensor driven by the world's first laser autofocus camera system onboard.
