Lindsay Lohan and rumoured fiancé Egor Tarabasov make red carpet debut as a couple

Lindsay Lohan and rumoured fiancé Egor Tarabasov made their first public appearance as a couple on Wednesday (22 June). The Mean Girls star was flaunting an emerald ring on her ring finger, the same one which has been fuelling marriage rumours since April.

After making their debut red carpet appearance at the Caudwell Children's Butterfly Ball in London, the couple shared a "thank you" post on their respective Instagram accounts.

The 29-year-old actress shared a photo of herself with Tarabasov on her Instagram account. In the photo, Lohan is wearing a pale pink dress, while the Russian business heir is sporting a suit with a bow tie.

Lohan has captioned the photo: "#onwednesdayswewearpink #butterflyball2016 @clairecaudwell and @johncaudwell thank you for including us to support all of the work you do for children bless you."

Tarabasov, 22, also shared the same photo on his Instagram account, with the caption: "Proud to be at #butterflyball16 with @lindsaylohan supporting @caudwellchildren thank you @johncaudwell."

In April, the couple ignited engagement rumours after Lohan was spotted wearing a 5-carat emerald engagement ring when they attended a Duran Duran concert. Soon after the couple's engagement rumours started making the rounds, the actress's spokesperson denied that the couple were engaged.

However, at that time a source told Page Six that Tarabasov proposed with a ring Lohan had seen at an auction. "She was saying how much she loved it and he went back and secretly got it," the source said. "She didn't see it coming" when "he popped the question with a 5-carat oval emerald ring".

Meanwhile, Lohan's parents are happy with their daughter's partner. Lohan's mother Dina told Us Weekly: "He is cute. He's a sweetheart. No, he's just a really good person. The tabloids are like, 'Oh, he's so much younger.' But he's very mature, very worldly. They love each other."
