A-List Insider: Royal family welcome Princess Charlotte, Rihanna steals the show at Met Gala
In this week's A-List Insider:
The world meets Princess Charlotte, Rihanna steals the show at the Met Gala and Chris Brown might be in trouble with the law again.
World welcomes Princess Charlotte
The royal family has just got a new member after the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge welcomed their second child.
The new princess, named Charlotte Elizabeth Diana, was born on Saturday (2 May) at 7.34am at London's St Mary's Hospital. And the proud parents couldn't wait to show off the little girl to the world's press on the steps on as they left the private Lindo Wing on the same day.
Apparently the princess, who will be known officially as Her Royal Highness Princess Charlotte of Cambridge, was named in honour of her grandfather Prince Charles, her great grandmother Queen Elizabeth and her late paternal grandmother Princess Diana.
She is fourth in line to the British throne, after her grandfather Prince Charles, her father William and big brother Prince George.
Rihanna dazzles at 2015 Met Gala
Meanwhile, Rihanna continues to raise the bar as a style icon.
The pop superstar led the glamour when she turned up at the star-studded 2015 Met Gala in an extravagant canary yellow number. The outfit, which was created by Chinese designer Guo Pei, took two years to make and featured a train that needed the assistance of three people just so she could walk.
It oozed luxury and it was clear that she has taken the China: Through The Looking Glass theme very seriously. See Madonna, now this is how you do a train.
Chris Brown accused of punching someone... again
Just last month he was celebrating the end of his probation, but it looks like Chris Brown is already back in trouble with the law. According to TMZ, the Loyal hitmaker has been accused of punching a man he was playing basketball with during a pre-dawn altercation at the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas.
The site reports that he can either put his hands up to a charge of misdemeanour battery and face court or take his chances with the DA. But despite the allegations his publicist insisted that the r'n'b had not been involved in any fight.
"Chris is currently in Las Vegas. He has a suite at the hotel that has a basketball court and invited friends to come play," Nicole Perna said in a statement. "An unruly individual showed up uninvited and was removed from the premises," he said.
Update: Since the time of video publication, charges against Chris Brown have been dropped and the case will not be pursued.
