- West Ham 2-1 Manchester City FT
- Liverpool 0-0 Hull FT
- Southampton 1-0 Stoke FT
- Sunderland 0-2 Arsenal FT
- West Brom 2-2 Crystal Palace FT
5:51pm: And that's a wrap on the afternoon fixtures! Arsenal and Southampton come out winners while West Brom, Crystal Palace, Hull and Liverpool settle for a point a piece. Thanks for joining us today, see you tomorrow for all the action at Chelsea v Manchester United!
4:50pm: GOAL! West Brom have equalised after chipping away at Crystal Palace for some time, care of a successful penalty after Mile Jedinak fouled Victor Anichebe. Saido Berahino is on target with the spot kick and West Brom likely save a point.
4:49pm: GOAL! Alexis Sanchez scores again to take Arsenal's lead to 2-0 over Sunderland.
4:49pm: Southampton meanwhile have been dominating Stoke with 18 chances on goal compared to the visitors' 8. Can they double their lead before the final whistle?
4:44pm: While Sunderland aren't losing by anywhere near as much as last week, this response will surely be a disappointing one for fans if it stays 0-1 against them. THey've had 3 shots on target to Arsenal's 4 but haven't made it count.
4:32pm: There's 20 minutes to go in these matches and there haven't been a great deal of chances apart from the West Brom v Crystal Palace fixture. Arsenal are on top of Sunderland but Gibbs has come off injured which won't be great news for Arsene Wenger. And Liverpool are clearly suffering from a heavy week of scheduling, while Hull look the more liekly side to score right now.
4:26pm: While the goals keep alluding these eight teams, elsewhere in Europe Luis Suarez is set to start for Barcelona against Real Madrid in tonight's El Clasico. And in Germany, Frankfurt have just lost to Stuttgart 4-5.
4:15pm: Steven Gerrard is not happy with Mario Balotelli after he receives a yellow for 'tackling' Alex Bruce with his arm. Will the skipper give him the right words to stay focused?
4:08pm: GOAL! West Brom halve Crystal Palace's lead through Victor Anichebe who heads the ball into the net from a corner.
4:06pm: Players are coming out of the tunnels and looks like we're set for four big halves.
3:47pm: And that's a wrap on the first halves!
3:47pm: GOAL! Crystal Palce double their lead through a successful spot kick from Mile Jedinak.
3:46pm: Just minutes left in these halves, with Arsenal, Southampton and Crystal Palace holding advantages.
3:43pm: Liverpool haven't had the best start and although Mario Balotelli looks like he's getting into the game it would appear they've got to improve a fair amount on the back of a disappointing week. Jake Livermore has a chance for Hull but it's saved by Simon Mignolet, and the Reds haven't looked particularly dangerous since the opening minutes.
3:34pm: GOAL! Southampton are in the advantage against Stoke after Sadio Mane scores.
3:30pm: GOAL! Arsenal hit back after Sunderland's positive start and go one up through Alexis Sanchez. A big defensive mistake allowed the summer signing a chance in front of the net and he took full advantage.
3:28pm: On the back of a gustydraw with Manchester United on Monday West Brom look a shell of their former selves against a dominant Palace today. No other goals so far in these afternoon kick-offs...
3:21pm: Not a great stat to write home about for Dejan Lovren. According to Squawka,
Dejan Lovren's a defender for a reason. He's had 3 shots so far today; 2 have been blocked and the other is in row z.
3:16pm: GOAL! Crystal Palace go up 1-0 against West Brom after Brede Hangeland is on target with his second attempt.
3:10pm: No goals as yet from the afternoon kick offs but Liverpool have come very close through Balotelli and Lovren, with Hull's Ahmed Elmohamady blocking a shot right on the line. Meanwhile Sunderland have made a positive start against Arsenal, keeping the Gunners quiet.
3:00pm: And we're off!
2:55pm: With minutes until kick-off, LIverpool will be hoping to turn their season around after a disappointing display against Read Madrid during the week with maximum points at home against Hull. Sunderland, meanwhile, will be planning on a huge recovery after last weeks 8-0 thrashing by returning their dignity against Arsenal.
2:40pm: Join us soon for more Premier League action as four games kick off at 15:00!
2:38pm: Line-ups for Liverpool v Hull are as follows:
Liverpool XI: Mignolet; Manquillo, Moreno, Lovren, Skrtel; Gerrard, Lallana, Can, Allen, Sterling; Balotelli.
Hull XI: Jakupović; Elmohamady, Chester, Bruce, Davies, Brady; Huddlestone, Livermore, Diamé; Ben Arfa, Hernández.
2:36pm: And that's a wrap! West Ham have pulled off an unlikely victory against Manchester City. This leaves them five points of top-placed Chelsea who haven't played yet this weekend.
2:36pm: Adrian has been a star for West Ham today and his handy work is at it once again as he saves Stevan Jovetic's shot.
2:32pm: Just minutes left and Sakho looks like he's down but he gets back up and is ok. Then Allardyce decides to take him off. West Ham fighting off every City attack so far.
2:26pm: And the starting line-ups for Southampton v Stoke:
Southampton XI: Forster, Clyne, Fonte ( c), Alderweireld, Bertrand, Cork, Schneiderlin, S. Davis, Mané, Tadić, Pellè.
Stoke XI: Begovic; Bardsley, Shawcross (c), Wilson, Pieters; Cameron, Nzonzi; Walters, Adam, Moses; Crouch.
2:24pm: While CIty pile the pressure onto West Ham, here's some team news for later with the starting line-up for Sunderland v Arsenal as follows:
Southampton XI: Forster, Clyne, Fonte ( c), Alderweireld, Bertrand, Cork, Schneiderlin, S. Davis, Mané, Tadić, Pellè.
Stoke XI: Begovic; Bardsley, Shawcross (c), Wilson, Pieters; Cameron, Nzonzi; Walters, Adam, Moses; Crouch.
And West Brom v Crystal Palace:
West Brom XI: Foster, Wisdom, Dawson, Lescott, Pocognoli, Brunt, Gardner, Dorrans, Morrison, Sessegnon, Berahino.
Crystal Palace XI: Speroni, Ward, Mariappa, Hangeland, Kelly, Jedinak, Ledley, Zaha, Bolasie, Chamakh, Campbell.
2:23pm: James Milner replaces Fernando for City - you assume they'll now take their attacks to another level.
2:22pm: Coming into the last 10 minutes at West Ham and the tension is certainly high as the hosts look to protect their lead. City have looked like scoring on a number of occasions - is luck now on their side?
2:20pm: GOAL! Manchester City are quick to respond and David Silva cuts West Ham's lead in half with a curler into the corner.
2:19pm: Good little stat on Sakho visa Opta Joe:
6 - Diafra Sakho is the first West Ham United player to score in six successive Premier League appearances. Superstar.
2:18pm: GOAL! West Ham double their lead through Diafra Sakho. He heads it from the centre of the box to the right hand corner and thanks to goal line technoloday it's in.
2:15pm: Vincent Kompany looks to be getting frustrated and he's already on a yellow, another one shouldn't be too close off unless he calms down. Meanwhile Yaya Toure is getting in on the action in front of goal but he's had no luck as yet with one shot saved and another too high.
2:09pm: Cheikhou Kouyate is on for loan goal scorer Morgan Amalfitano, who has been one of the standouts for the West Ham side today.
2:03pm: City might be coming off second best at the moment but don't underestimate Sergio Aguero - he brings a brilliant save by Adrian with his work in front of the net and City keep pushing for a goal.
1:57pm: Manchester City are definitely coming off second best at the moment as West ham eat into their possessive stat. Enner Valencia and Stewart Downing both have attempts but the former is ruled offside and the latter misses to the right.
1:50pm: Alex Song has been a standout today for West Ham but as he gets back into the swing of things an ill-decided defensive move gets a yellow card for handball.
1:48pm: And we're back!
1:32pm: And that's a wrap on the first half. West Ham have looked very dangerous and it would appear their attacking style of football is bettering City, possibly suffering from their mid-week trip to Russia. Can they turn it around?
1:31pm: West Ham might have less shots on goal but they've got 2 on target compared to just 1 for City. Enner Valencia goes close but misses to the left and then Vincent Kompany is handed a yellow card for a bad foul. The Hammers are looking good at the minute!
1:25pm: City are staying in control of possession with 71% and they have double shots on goal compared with West Ham with a current stat of 8 to 4.
1:19pm: It's hard to think Aguero won't score at least once in this game, and the striker is close yet again as he has a shot from outside the box. It's too far to the left but he's got a lotof time to make up for that small misjudgement.
1:15pm: Stewart Downing has a shot with his head but it's *just* too high for West Ham to double their lead. This is end to end stuff at the moment!
1:10pm: City are on the attack now as Edin Dzeko is just too high with a shot from the centre of the box. They've got 72% of possession but West Ham look just as dangerous right now.
1:05pm: GOAL! West Ham go up 1-0 thanks to a goal from Morgan Amalfitano. Joe Hart recovered and did well to try and save it but Amalfitano was unmarked and on target. This is not the start City fans had hoped for.
1:00pm: The match is delayed due to a seeming injury for Joe Hart.
12:53pm: Yellow card is given to Morgan Amalfitano for a tackle on Jesus Navas that went horribly wrong.
12:52pm: And now City are starting to make some dangerous attacks with Sergio Aguero and David Silva both going close for the side. Aguero has been brilliant for City so far this season and he will be the one to stop for Sam Allardyce today.
12:48pm: Manchester City are basically seeing all of the ball at the moment but it's West Ham who have had the only shot on goal with Enner Valencia missing to the right.
12:45pm: And we're off!
12:43pm: Just minutes until kick off and West Ham will be hoping City's midweek match-up with CSKA Moscow, which they drew 2-2, will have tired them out for the weekend.
12:35pm: For Manchester City, a win today would make it four wins in a row for Manuel Pellegrini's men, while West Ham have also been on a good run as they currently sit in the top four. It's a difficult place for City to travel to but it's difficult not to favour them to win considering they've scored 10 goals in their last three victories and don't look like slowing down.
12:28pm: Earlier today as transcripts were released from Sergio Aguero's autobiography he admitted to missing having Mario Balotelli at City:
I still miss Mario Balotelli being at City. Even though he used to drive us all nuts.
"We all knew Mario was a little crazy. The thing was, Mario was crazy when he wanted to be. He'd do daft things whenever he felt like it because he thought he could.
"We'd go out on the training pitch and he'd kick the balls away in different directions just to be silly, or he'd throw cheese over people when he was sat in the dining room.
12:20pm: And the line-ups for West Ham v Manchester City are:
West Ham United: Adrian, Jenkinson, Collins, Reid, Cresswell, Noble, Song, Amalfitano, Downing, Valencia, Sakho
Subs: Jaaskelainen, Kouyate, Vaz Te, O'Brien, Poyet, Cole, Nolan
Manchester City: Hart, Zabaleta, Kompany, Mangala, Clichy, Fernando, Toure, Navas, Silva, Aguero, Dzeko
Subs: Caballero, Demichelis, Sagna, Kolarov, Milner, Fernandinho, Jovetic
