Liverpool will take on Malaysia XI in the pre-season friendly fixture scheduled between the two sides at the Stadium Nasional Bukit Jalil, Kuala Lumpur on 24 July.

Overview

Liverpool have managed to win the first three matches of the pre-season tour as they defeated Thailand All-Stars, Brisbane Roar and Adelaide United. In the process, the Reds have scored eight goals and conceded only one, which came against Brisbane Roar.

Summer signing James Milner scored in the last two matches and Brendan Rodgers will be hoping he continues his form for the clash on Friday. Another summer signing Danny Ings also netted his first goal for the Merseyside club.

Divock Origi, who returned to Anfield after his loan spell at Lille has managed to hit the ground in the opening match as he scored his first goal against Thailand All-Stars. The Premier League club will be looking for a fourth straight victory when they take on Malaysia XI.
