London terrorist suspect arrested in Thamesmead by Metropolitan Police Counter Terrorism Command
A 20-year-old man has been arrested in Thamesmead, south east London, on suspicion of planning to commit an act of terrorism.
Officers from the Metropolitan Police's Counter Terrorism Command arrested the man on 15 November under the Terrorism Act, 2006.
He has been taken to a south London police station where he remains in custody.
The arrest has been made under the Police and Criminal Evidence Act 1984 (Pace).
