The reason for Love Island couple Camilla Thurlow and Jamie Jewitt's blazing street row revealed
The pair have been dating since their stint on ITV2's Love Island in the summer.
Love Island couple Camilla Thurlow and Jamie Jewitt have been pictured having a blazing row in the street over "negative comments" on social media.
Prince Harry's ex, Thurlow, was seen looking tearful while an animated Jewitt pulls angry facial expressions and aggressively clenches his fists in the verbal altercation.
The pictures, obtained by MailOnline, may come as a shock to Love Island fans, who credited Thurlow, 28, and Jewitt, 27, as one of the most mature, stable couples to come out of the show.
The row took place just 10 yards from a fundraiser they had attended on Wednesday evening. Jewitt can also be seen shoving a phone in Thurlow's face shortly after the couple put on a happy display at The Charge II boxing fundraiser at The Lindley Hall in London.
A representative for Jamie Jewitt claims that the row was over negative comments Thurlow is receiving on Instagram.
The spokeswoman told IBTimes UK: "The pictures show a couple in love having a heated drunken conversation.
"As someone in the public eye, Camilla had been receiving negative messages and comments on Instagram and Jamie was upset as he didn't want her to be hurt or affected by those comments.
"That is what the heated conversation was about. He was angry at the comments and how they had made her upset. But both are OK and are happy and in love and you will see going forwards that is absolutely the case."
Thurlow, a bomb disposal expert from Dumfries, made headlines on the night for debuting a shorter, brunette hairstyle, a stark contrast from her long blonde hair in the Mallorca villa earlier this year.
The couple have been dating for approximately five months after they met on the ITV2 dating show. Jewitt, a Calvin Klein model, was a late entrant and swept Thurlow off her feet with his gentle and kind personality.
Thurlow, renowned for her sensitive nature, had previously enjoyed a brief romance with fellow islander Jonny Mitchell, before calling it a day when he made some upsetting comments regarding feminism.
They went on to nab second place on the show, missing out on the £50,000 prize to Kem Cetinay and Amber Davies, who have recently split up.
Before going on the ITV2 dating show, Thurlow was romantically linked to Prince Harry, 33, following his break-up with Cressida Bonas in 2014. They were rumoured to have enjoyed a fling and were seen getting cosy at Tonteria nightclub in London's Sloane Square.
Just hours after leaving the Love Island villa, Camilla hinted that she was glad her Prince Harry romance was over.
She told The Sun: "I didn't want my past relationships in the spotlight to upset having a future with someone. I am very happy with Jamie right now. It is nice that something that has happened in the past is in the past – I've had an opportunity to show people the person I am."
