Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade 2015: Mariah Carey, Shawn Mendes and Trey Songz to perform

In less than 24 hours, the streets of New York City will be filled with giant balloons and tens of thousands of people watching the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. In celebration of the holiday, floats with a variety of displays will keep children and adults entertained for hours.

Starting on 77th Street and Central Park West at 9am on 26 November, the floats will begin their 2.5 mile journey as a bevy of pop stars climb aboard to entertain the masses. Singers and bands including Mariah Carey, Jordin Sparks, Daughtry, Questlove from The Roots and Shawn Mendes are expected to perform throughout the day of festivities. R'n'b singer Trey Songz has also been added to the line-up last minute and will perform alongside Miss America 2016, Betty Cantrell.

Canadian superstar Justin Bieber had been scheduled to perform but he has cancelled for reported "personal reasons". The performance was set to be the latest in a string of promotional duties for his new album, Purpose but he pulled the plug as well as an appearance on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert.

Singers who performed at the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in 2014, included Idina Menzel, Nick Jonas, Hilary Duff, Lucy Hale, Meghan Trainor, The Vamps, Pentatonix and Becky G. The Today show's Matt Lauer, Al Roker and Savannah Guthrie will host the televised broadcast on NBC from 9am.
