Man nicknamed 'Murder' charged with attempted murder over Colonial Heights shooting
A man known by the nickname 'Murder' has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder following a shooting in Virginia.
Petersburg man Ethan A Prescott, aka Murder, was arrested by Colonial Heights police on suspicion of shooting a 25-year-old man several times in Branders Bridge Road on 8 June.
The victim was treated at Southside Regional Medical Center, but was later released after suffering non-life threatening injuries.
Police arrested the 34-year-old Prescott on 13 June following the assistance of the US Marshal Fugitive Task Force.
Prescott now faces charges of attempted murder, use of a firearm and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. He is currently being held in Riverside Regional jail with no bond.
Colonial Heights Police Department added in a statement: "This investigation is ongoing, and additional charges may be pending."
