Manchester City Beat Tottenham Hotspur 3-2: Balotelli Scores Late Winner [SLIDESHOW]
It's such a rare spectacle. All the five goals in the fixture were netted in the second half. And, Premier League leaders Manchester City had a tough time overcoming the challenge posed by Tottenham Hotspur at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday night. City finally bagged a 3-2 victory thanks to a last-gasp goal by Mario Balotelli (95 minutes).
Samir Nasri scored the opener on 56 minutes. And, City's advantage was doubled by Joleon Lescott in less than three minutes.
But Spurs hit back the very next minute when Jermain Defoe shot into an empty net. They drew level with Gareth Bale too scoring on 65 minutes.
Balotelli's stoppage time penalty saved the day for Roberto Mancini's side. City are now a good six points clear of bitter rivals and neighbours Manchester United at the summit of the League table.
