Barcelona will look to continue their 100% record in the Champions League this season when they face Manchester City at the Etihad on 1 November.

Where to watch live

Kick-off is set for 7.45pm GMT. The game will be broadcast live on BT Sport 2.

Overview

Sergio Aguero and Ilkay Gundogan scored braces as Manchester City ended a six-game winless run by beating West Brom at the Hawthorns on 29 October. The Premier League leaders have lost all five of their previous competitive meetings with Barcelona.

Full-backs Bacary Sagna (hamstring) and Pablo Zabaleta (foot) are both sidelined through injury for the hosts.

Rafinha scored the only goal of the game as Barcelona edged out a narrow win over Granada at Camp Nou on 29 October. The Catalan giants have only lost one of their last six away matches in the Champions League.

Gerard Pique, Andres Iniesta, Jordi Alba, Jeremy Mathieu and Aleix Vidal all remain absent through injury, but Arda Turan has recovered from a knock.

What managers say

Pep Guardiola: "[Sergio Aguero] is part of the history of this club but I would like to help him still. That is my target – help him to feel how important he is for us in in every game. He is one of the best. And above all that he is one of the nicest people I have ever met. I love working with the nice guys, and Sergio is one of them."

Luis Enrique: "It was not a brilliant game [against Granada] but it was a game that was normal against a team that plays in a very tidy way. In this kind of match you need a freshness that we lacked at times. We were caught offside several times and that is due to lack of timing. We struggled more than usual but we continued to strengthen the team's plans."
