Manchester City vs Dynamo Kiev, Champions League 2015/16: Where to watch live, preview, betting odds and possible XI
Manchester City will look to secure their progress to a maiden Champions League quarter-finals when they take on Dynamo Kiev in the round of 16 second leg at the Etihad Stadium on 15 March.
Where to watch live
Kick-off is scheduled for 7.45pm GMT. Live coverage of the game in the UK is available on BT Sport Europe.
Overview
Manchester City have a chance of creating history when they host Dynamo Kiev in the second leg of the round of 16 clash at the Etihad Stadium. The Citizens are in the driver's seat to qualify for the quarter-finals for the first time in their history, coming into this game on the back of a two-goal lead after winning 3-1 at Ukraine in the first leg.
However, they have been in disappointing form of late, with their performances in the English Premier League not up to scratch. With the squad at their disposal, they should be competing for the title but they have underperformed to such an extent that they are actually in a battle with West Ham United and Manchester United for the fourth and final Champions League spot.
Ivorian Yaya Toure is expected to feature after missing out on Saturday's 0-0 draw against Norwich City due to a heel injury. City have just three players injured, with a majority of the squad fit to play in this all-important clash.
The Ukranian side come into this game knowing that overcoming a 3-1 deficit will be a monumental task, considering their record in European competitions on English soil. Dynamo Kiev are yet to win a game in England, losing 11 out 13 played and drawing two games.
Manager Sergei Rebrov, who played in the Premier League for Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham United, will know he has an extraordinarily tough task at hand and will be hoping that City's poor form continues when they face-off on Tuesday night. Dynamo have no serious injury worries and are expected to field a strong XI against City.
What managers say
Manuel Pellegrini: "The most important thing is to know we have not yet qualified. We play against a team who know how to play this type of game. We're not going to play with the score we got in Kiev, we're just going to say its 0-0 and try to win the game."
Sergei Rebrov: "We do not have many chances but I do think we have some chances. If the players do not feel nervous, if they are relaxed, they will create some chances. I think tomorrow the team will fight for the result, irrespective of the score in the first leg. We have to concentrate, work very hard, be strong and be a team. They have lots of good players but we must be a team and that is the most important thing."
