Manchester City will face Italian side AS Roma in the second group stage Champions League fixture at the Etihad on Tuesday evening.
Where to Watch
Kick-off is set for 7:45pm BST. Live coverage of the match will be available on UTV and ITV 1.
Overview
Manchester City come into this game after registering a 4-2 away victory over Hull City. The Premier League champions took a two-goal lead from Sergio Aguero and Edin Dzeko early in the game.
The Tigers were given a hope after an own goal from Eliaquim Mangala helped them open the scoring before the French international's tackle inside the box saw Able Hernandez equalise for Hull before half time.
However, it was Dzeko and Frank Lampard's goals that saw City seal their first league win of this month. In the opening Champions League clash against Bayern Munich, Jerome Boateng's late strike saw Manuel Pellegrini's side suffer a 1-0 defeat at the Allianz Arena.
Meanwhile, Roma enter into this fixture after sealing a comfortable 2-0 victory over Hellas Verona. In the first European fixture of the season, Rudi Garcia saw his side seal a 5-1 victory over Russian side CSKA Moscow.
This season, the Serie A outfit are unbeaten in all competitions and Garcia would be hoping to extend his side's run when they face City at the Etihad on Tuesday evening. A defeat for the English champions could put them under pressure to perform in the remaining four group stage fixture to qualify for the next round of Europe's elite club competition.
What Managers Say
Manuel Pellegrini: "I am absolutely sure that Manchester City will eventually win the Champions League. Of course, it is not the most important title to win but when it happens - and it will - it will not mean that this project is finished."
Rudi García: "It will be a great match. They have no points, so all the pressure is on them. They need to get a result at their home ground. We are solid and we've shown we have confidence in our game. We're ready to handle the challenges when they come, but we have to enjoy this experience and take what we can get from it."
