Manchester gang rapists plied schoolgirl with alcohol at Moss Side house party
Daniel Thomas, Lucas Koky and Mohammed Mustafa sentenced to combined 34 years.
Three men have been jailed for plying a schoolgirl with alcohol and gang raping her in a toilet at a house party in Moss Side.
Daniel Thomas, 23, of Beresford Street, Moss Side; Lucas Koky, 23, of Rolls Crescent, Hulme; and Mohammed Mustafa, 19, of Thorncombe Road, Moss Side, gave the 15-year-old victim alcohol before following her into a toilet and sexually assaulting her on 21 November 2015.
On 19 September, Thomas was jailed at Manchester Crown Court, Crown Square for 10 years and six months after pleading guilty to rape at an earlier hearing while Koky and Mustafa were sentenced to 12 years and three months and 10 years and nine months respectively after both pleaded guilty at an earlier hearing.
Thomas was also jailed for a further six months for affray and possession of a bladed article. In total the trio will have been jailed for 34 years.
Detective Constable James Coles, of GMP's City of Manchester Team, said: "The young victim has been put through a disgusting and harrowing ordeal with detrimental effects on her wellbeing. Today's outcome is the first step in her recovery. Without her courage and bravery and the support of partnership agencies such as the CPS and Children's Social Care, this prosecution would most likely not have happened.
"These men have now been jailed for their horrendous crimes. They are safely behind bars and are no longer able to prey on young girls. This is also thanks to the combined efforts of a number of specialist teams, across GMP, who were involved in the investigation."
