Manchester United take on Feyenoord in the Europa League clash at Old Trafford on 24 November, Thursday.

Where to watch live

Kick-off is at 8.05pm GMT. Live coverage of the match will be available on BT Sport 2.

Overview

United have had a mixed start so far in the Europa League, where they managed two wins and two defeats from four matches. Both these victories have come at home at Old Trafford and the Red Devils play their last tie against Feyenoord.

The last time these two teams faced each other in the first match of the Europa League, the Premier League giants suffered a 1-0 defeat at De Kuip. It was Tonny Vilhena's goal that was the difference between the two sides.

Fenerbahce are leading the Group A table with seven points from four games, level on points with second place Feyenoord. United are third with six points, while Zorya Luhansk are at the bottom with two points.

Jose Mourinho's side needs nothing less than a win in the next two matches in order to make sure they make it to the next round of the second tier of European football. However, a defeat on Thursday and a victory for the Turkish club in another fixture will end United's hope of going further in the tournament.

In the last fixture, United were forced to settle for a 1-1 draw against Arsenal in the league tie. Zlatan Ibrahimovic was suspended for the clash and Mourinho started Marcus Rashford to lead the attack.

Juan Mata gave United a lead in the second half, but that was cancelled by Olivier Giroud's late header to help Arsene Wenger's side walk away from Old Trafford with a point. Mourinho will be looking to bounce back when they host Feyenoord on Thursday.

In the last five matches played in all competitions, the Dutch club have managed only two wins. Giovanni van Bronckhorst will be hoping his side can beat United and seal a berth in the next stage of the competition.

What managers say

Jose Mourinho: "Man United fans? what can I say? I am amazed with the way they are with the team. We have let them down with results but we never let them down with our effort and desire."

Giovanni van Bronckhorst: "In De Kuip we have seen that it is possible to get a good result against Manchester United. Now their approach will be different to then, because United must now win. That makes this a very different game than in Rotterdam."
