Marcel Addai murder: Two men to appear at Hendon Magistrates' Court over Hoxton attack
Two men are due to appear at Hendon Magistrates' Court on Thursday accused of stabbing to death teenager Marcel Addai after allegedly chasing him through an estate in Hoxton, east London.
Marcel, 17, was found with stab wounds at the St John's estate in Hoxton, in the east London borough of Hackney, after police were called on 4 September to reports of an assault.
Witnesses said the teenager had been chased by up to 15 people before he was fatally stabbed. The London Ambulance Service attended the scene but he was pronounced dead at 11.47pm.
A Metropolitan Police statement read: "Detectives investigating the fatal stabbing of 17-year-old Marcel Addai in Hoxton have tonight, Wednesday, 9 September, charged two men with his murder. Akeem Gbadamosi, 21, and Eugene Ocran, 19, will appear in custody at Hendon Magistrates' Court tomorrow, Thursday, 10 September."
