He is yet to file divorce papers, but it looks like Nick Cannon has already moved on from estranged wife Mariah Carey.

The newly-single America's Got Talent host was spotted all suited and booted as he enjoyed a dinner date with a mystery woman earlier this week.

In the images posted online, the lady is wearing a cream jumper, black jeans and heels.

She completes her smart yet casual look with bold red lipstick.

The pair were all smiles as they chatted in a restaurant in Tribeca, lower Manhattan.

And to add salt to the wound, Cannon was spending time with a love interest in the same neighbourhood as the $9 million (£5.6m) custom-made triplex penthouse where he and Carey lived before their separation.

The dinner date comes just days after Cannon replaced his enormous 'Mariah' tattoo with a giant Jesus inking.

His new tattoo shows Jesus on the cross with angel wings coming off the end the cross.

Although the couple, who tied the knot in 2008 and have two children, are yet to reveal the cause of the split, Carey's alleged jealousy is said to be at the root of the problem.

"Nick told friends that Mariah would get angry when he wouldn't return calls, and sent assistants to see what he was doing," a source told Radar Online.

The creator of comedy series Wild 'n' Out recently told the EXTRA website that he was dealing with the separation the best way he knew how.

"I'm just taking everything one day at a time and just being the best person that I can possibly be at the end of the day."
