Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon Say ‘I do’ for Fourth Time [PHOTOS]
Singer-songwriter Mariah Carey and husband Nick Cannon renewed their wedding vows again, for the fourth time, on 27 April, 2012 atop the Eiffel Tower in Paris.
Mariah, dressed in a fishtail white gown with a black bow at the waist and spaghetti straps, looked stunning as she posed for a photo shoot before the renewal ceremonies at the French capital's La Maison Blanche hotel. The 42-year-old singer paired her dress with a detailed diamond necklace and matching earrings. She tied her light brown hair loosely in a half ponytail to complete her glamorous look for the evening.
Actor-comedian Nick Cannon, on the other hand, matched Mariah's white dress with a white suit and black tie.
The Daily Mail reported that Nick and Mariah showed how comfortable they were in front of the cameras, with Nick going down on one knee in a mock proposal.
"Tonight was an incredible night, I can't express how amazing it was to renew our vows in Paris at the top of the Eiffel tower," a Twitter post by Carey following the renewal ceremony mentions.
Earlier, the star revealed about her Paris plans on Twitter with the post: "We have put together some very festive plans :) LYM! Can't wait to see you soon in Paris and Ischgl... X0x0 MC"
Carey met Cannon on the set of her music video for the song "Bye Bye", on an island off the coast of Antigua. Following this, on 30 April, 2008 the couple married in a private ceremony in her private estate on Windermere Island in the Bahamas.
Two years later, the couple confirmed that they were expecting their first child. Following this, during the third wedding anniversary of the couple, Carey gave birth to fraternal twins. They were named Monroe, after Marilyn Monroe, and Moroccan Scott, after Cannon proposed to Carey in her Moroccan-style room.
JustJared reported that on 27 April, 2012, Mariah and Nick checked out some designer boutiques on the Champs-Elysees including Baby Dior and the Louis Vuitton flagship store. They were also spotted dining at the Le Jules Verne restaurant on the Eiffel Tower.
