Mean Girls: Tina Fey and Lindsay Lohan Planning Reunion?
The 2004 hit Mean Girls didn't just do wonders for Lindsay Lohan but also established itself as a cult film in the "chick-flick" genre. Now it looks like the cast of the film might be getting set for a big screen reunion.
Fans of the film and of Lohan will be happy to know that the actress is open to reprising her role as Cady Heron in a Mean Girls sequel.
The actress stopped by the Tonight Show to promote her reality show, which premieres on OWN on Sunday, and revealed some interesting bits about the movie's upcoming 10th anniversary, according to a report in Enstars.
According to Lohan, Tina Fey who co-wrote and starred in the comedy is looking at planning something with the entire cast.
"When I was backstage I saw Tina and she mentioned maybe doing some sort of reunion," Lohan told host Jimmy Fallon.
Lohan seemed excited about the prospect and said she would definitely be a part of it.
Interestingly, the 27-year-old star recently had a mini Mean Girls reunion of sorts as she met up with former costars Daniel Franzese and Rajiv Surendra, who played Lohan's classmates in the film. She posted pictures of the evening on Instagram:
Mean Girls, which hit theatres in April 2004, also starred Rachel McAdams, Lacey Chabert, Lizzy Caplan and Amanda Seyfried.
