Medic Class Introduced for Turtle Rock's Evolve
Over the last few days, Turtle Rock Studios, the developers behind Evolve, an upcoming sci-fi themed co-operative first-person shooter, have been introducing the world to the game's different player classes. Yesterday, the developer revealed a new Medic Class, who will be available to players in game.
Turtle Rock Studios introduced gamers to Val, a well-armed medic who can patch up and heal fellow hunters on the move with her powerful support skill sets. Her healing tool is similar to the one seen in Team Fortress 2.
Apart from simply healing fellow hunters, Val has a set of other powerful abilities. Her arsenal includes a powerful anti-material rifle that can play a pivotal role in the game by highlighting and exposing enemy weak points. She also comes armed with a nifty tranquillizer Rifle that can reduce the enemy's agility significantly, thereby allowing her to be a trapper of sorts when the situation calls for it.
And then comes the healing Burst ability which happens to be a in-radius ability that can heal friendly units surrounding Val.
Summing it up, the Medic happens to be a powerful support class that can effectively influence the odds on the battlefield in a big way.
Over the last few days, the game's developers also went on to reveal Markov of the Assault class, Griffin of the Trapper class, and Hank of the Support class.

The game will be out during the third quarter of 2014.
