Mel B goes Topless in Janet Jackson-Inspired Shoot to Promote Breast Cancer Awareness
Mel B has become the latest celebrity to strip off for a good cause.
The 37-year-old former Spice Girl has gone topless in a Janet Jackson-inspired photoshoot to help raise breast cancer awareness.
With her husband, Stephen Belafonte, on hand to help provide cleavage support, the guest X Factor judge promotes the charity CoppaFeel in the latest issue of Cosmopolitan magazine.
In the saucy black and white snap, the pair recreate Jackson's iconic Rolling Stone cover, with Belafonte protecting his wife's breasts, ahead of Breast Cancer Awareness month.
In the accompanying interview, the singer revealed that the cause was close to her heart, having suffered a cancer scare herself.
"I found a lump when I was 17 and freaked out. It turned out it was nothing but it terrified me.
"Ever since, I've always been one for checking, then double checking. I have three daughters and one stepdaughter so I'll show them as they get older. My eldest [Phoenix, 13] does it already."
And her husband insisted that he was more than happy to help her check her breasts regularly.
"I'm a boob man so I had absolutely no problem doing this shoot or helping my wife check her breasts. What man wouldn't like that? It's a fun thing to do and so very important," he said.
Hollyoaks beauty and Dancing On Ice runner-up Jorgie Porter also bared all to raise awareness.
Posing alongside boyfriend James Atherton, she said: "I was so excited to take part in this shoot with James. Janet Jackson's Rolling Stone cover is so iconic. But it's for a great cause too.
"Checking your boobs can be scary - you don't want to find anything. But it's so important you do as it could save your life. James and I make it fun - plus, I check his bits too!"
