Metropolitan Police officer Michael Graham charged with seven counts of rape
A serving Metropolitan police officer attached to Hounslow Borough has been charged with seven counts of rape. PC Michael Graham, 47, is due to appear at Uxbridge Magistrate's Court accused of rape as well as one count of actual bodily harm (ABH).
The officer was arrested on 6 October and charged with eight offences the following day. Graham was not on duty when he was arrested and all the offences are alleged to have taken place between 24 December 2013 and 2 September 2014 while the officer was off duty.
The officer has been suspended pending the conclusion of the case and officers from Sexual Offences Exploitation & Child Abuse are investigating. The Directorate of Professional Standards has also been informed as a matter of course.
