Michelle Keegan supports husband Mark Wright at Soccer Aid, quashes divorce rumours by flaunting wedding ring
Michelle Keegan has put divorce rumours to rest after she was spotted wearing her wedding ring at the Soccer Aid held at Manchester's Old Trafford on 5 June. The Coronation Street actress was on the stands cheering her husband Mark Wright following days of speculation that the two had called it quits after a year of marriage.
The speculation was fuelled after Keegan was spotted without her wedding ring and husband as she celebrated her birthday.
"Michelle wasn't wearing her wedding ring because she came straight from work on Friday to the party and has not been home since to pick it up," Keegan's representative told The Sun.
The brunette beauty also cleared the air about the divorce speculations with a tweet: "I work on camera so I take it off and put it somewhere safe... SIMPLE. Last night I went straight out after work... Hence the NO ring!!!"
"That's the only comment I'm making!!!"
She also shared a selfie which shows her wearing a gold chain with the initials M&M.
"They are really bemused about the speculation surrounding their marriage as they are as happy as ever," a source told the tabloid. "They have been forced to spend time apart because of work commitments but cherish any time they do get together."
The charity football match ended with England scoring three goals against The Rest of the World's two goals. The first goal was scored by Wright, who was awarded the man of the match. The other two goals for England were scored by Jermain Defoe.
