Microsoft leaks new Xbox One controller set for June 2015
Announcement at E3 press conference likely.
Microsoft has let slip that a new Xbox One controller is due to be released next month, meaning it will probably be announced at the company's E3 press conference on Monday 15 June.
In a support post aiding players in familiarising themselves with the controller of the Xbox One, there is mention of a 3.5mm headphone port which is "only available on controllers released after June 2015".
No further information is available in the post, so we don't know if the new controller will have any other refinements or whether it will arrive alongside a new model of the Xbox One itself. A diagram in the post would suggest however that the controller will remain near-identical to the previous one.
Though there is no mention of such, we suspect Microsoft will tell all at its E3 press conference next month. IBTimes UK will be covering all the news live as it happens from Sunday 14 June.
