Microsoft Lumia 940, 940 XL, 840 running Windows 10 Mobile could be launched in 2015: Report
Microsoft's next Windows 10 exclusive flagships could be the Lumia 940/940XL according to a new report which hints that the Lumia 950/Lumia 950 XL could be released after the launch of Lumia 940/Lumia 940 XL.
A new NokiaPowerUser report, quoting reliable industry sources, states that apart from launching the Lumia 940/940 XL, Microsoft will also release the Lumia 840 in 2015.
The latest NokiaPowerUser report is contrary to multiple earlier reports that hinted at the Lumia 940/940 XL being spiked altogether to make way for Lumia 950/950XL.
The Lumia 940 and 940 XL are expected to be released in the near future. These smartphones could be launched as early as in October as Microsoft reportedly has an event planned to be held during the month in New York City.
Though not official, Microsoft's purported Lumia 940 is rumoured to feature key technical specs such as:
