Miley Cyrus drug controversy deepens as second 'drug paraphernalia photo' surfaces
A second photo has surfaced showing Miley Cyrus surrounded by what appear to be drugs at a recording studio.
In the photo which first appeared in the National Enquirer, the 22-year-old singer is seen working on her laptop with what appears to be a pile of cannabis, a rolled up bank note and a vial of white powder on a table in front of her.
The picture was reportedly taken at a 4am recording session in November.
It comes just days after an earlier photo was published by The Sun featuring the pop star relaxing on a sofa in a onesie with a laptop on her knees, with drug paraphernalia on a table in front of her.
It's believed the image was taken by a 'witness' who was partying with Cyrus during a recording session in Los Angeles on November 26.
Cyrus has been vocal about her liking for marijuana and has also admitted to using what she refers to as 'happy drugs', including cannabis and ecstasy.
In an interview in 2013 she said: "Those are happy drugs, social drugs. They make you want to be with friends."
The controversial star shocked viewers when she was seen on stage at the MTV awards lighting up what appeared to be a joint. Her Bangerz concert included numerous references to marijuana with her stage costumes featuring a marijuana leaf print.
The former Disney star most recently posted an image of herself on Instagram apparently enjoying a roll-up on Thanksgiving.
Her father, Billy Ray Cyrus, and her godmother, Dolly Parton, are said to be increasingly worried about her behaviour and have urged her to seek help.
