Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth get cozy during romantic dinner date in Malibu

Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth's relationship looks stronger than ever amid marriage rumours. The couple were pictured smiling and clinging on to each other while leaving a restaurant in Malibu after a romantic dinner date on Friday (15 July).

Nobu, the Japanese restaurant, seems to be one of the couple's favourite eateries as they were spot on a lunch date there last weekend as well. The Wrecking Ball hit-maker was dressed in a blue patterned shirt paired with jeans and a tiny purse resembling a fuzzy bear. The Hunger Games star also kept his ensemble casual with a grey T-shirt, light blue jeans and a navy blue jumper.

"Miley and Liam just spent a few days together in Malibu. Miley has been going back and forth between L.A. and N.Y.C. for the Woody Allen series," a source told People. "She was happy to spend some time with Liam - things are great between them. There are no set wedding plans, and they are enjoying their engagement."

Earlier, when the songstress's father, Billy Ray Cyrus, was asked about the couple's marriage plans, he said: "Here's what I do know. They're so happy. That's the main thing. If any of my kids decide that they're gonna have a wedding of any kind, whatever role they want me to play, I'll be there."

In May, the Hunger Games actor opened up about his relationship with the 23-year-old singer with GQ magazine's Australia edition. He said their break-up "needed to happen" because "at the time, we were going in different directions".

"I guess when I feel something, then I just feel it and I go for it," he said of their relationship. "I make my decisions about what's going to make me happy, what I think is right and what I want to do – and I don't worry too much outside of that," the 26-year-old added.

"Of course it was hard, man. But at the time we were going in different directions and it's just what needed to happen. We were both super young and it was a good decision at the time – we both needed that."

Miley and Hemsworth started dating in 2009 after meeting on the sets of the film The Last Song. The two split in 2013 after getting engaged in 2012, but rekindled their romance in December 2015.
