Hollywood Millionaire Matt Damon: I Have Money Worries Too
Good Will Hunting and Bourne star admits stress about economy crashing and his dollars losing their value
He may have millions of dollars in the bank as well as a lucrative acting career but Matt Damon has revealed that he still worries about money.
The 42-year-old Hollywood actor, who can earn between $250,000 and $500,000 a day when filming a big movie, has admitted that he stresses about what would happen to his money if the economy collapsed.
The Good Will Hunting star told Absolute Radio that he worried about how he would cope if the US dollar were suddenly devalued.
"The days can run anywhere from a quarter of a million to a half a million bucks, even more depending on what you're shooting that day," he told presenter Geoff Lloyd.
"I worry about the economy in general ... the dollar. It's not worth much if that goes."
The worrywart Oscar-winning star also confessed to having recurring nightmares where he cannot remember his lines.
"There are plenty of stress dreams, work stress dreams," the father-of-three said.
"I still get the one that all actors get, which is you're on stage and you don't know the play you're doing. I still get that one and [for] most actors that one never lets up."
