Mino Raiola tips Arsenal youngster Donyell Malen to be a revelation
Donyell Malen has not made a first-team appearance for Arsenal thus far.
Super agent Mino Raiola believes that Arsenal youngster Donyell Malen can be a real revelation in the future with his talent. The Dutchman is yet to make a first-team appearance for the Gunners but has the potential to make it big in the future.
Raiola made headlines this summer with three high profile transfers to Manchester United in the form of Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Paul Pogba and Henrikh Mkhitaryan. Pogba was the pick of the transfers, moving to United from Juventus for a world record fee, smashing that of Gareth Bale's move to Real Madrid from Tottenham Hotspur. However, the midfielder has failed to register a goal or an assist thus far in the league and has received a lot of criticism for his failure to live up to expectations.
He also talked up other prospects in the Premier League, specifically picking up Etienne Capoue for praise after the midfielder scored in every league game thus far barring one. The 28-year-old moved to Watford from Tottenham this summer and has added an attacking edge to his game this season. Gianluigi Donnarumma and Moise Kean are the other youngsters alongside Malen who have also been tipped for greatness.
"I believe Etienne Capoue will have a great season. He is a top, top player and has the ability to play in the best teams in the Premier League or Europe. Things didn't work out for him at Tottenham but sometimes that happens. He has started well and I think he will show how good he is this year," Raiola said, as quoted by the Daily Mail.
"Gianluigi Donnarumma is in the national team at 17 so he will continue to get better with Italy and AC Milan, Moise Kean is doing well at Juventus but one who I am excited about is already with a Premier League club and that is Donyell Malen at Arsenal. He is a very talented young Dutch player with lots of ability, he is at a very good club with a great manager and I think he can be a revelation."
