Miranda Kerr unveils beautiful Dior wedding dress in Vogue photos with husband Evan Spiegel
Couple married at their California home in May with just 45 guests in attendance.
Miranda Kerr has revealed her Dior wedding dress for the first time in a stunning photo spread for Vogue magazine.
The Australian supermodel married Snapchat co-founder Evan Spiegel in May with their intimate ceremony looking something straight out of a fairytale. Posing inside their Brentwood, California mansion where the wedding took place, Kerr, 34, wore a long-sleeved custom-made gown designed by Dior's artistic director Maria Grazia Chiuri. She teamed up with a pearl-encrusted headpiece by milliner Stephen Jones.
In Vogue's behind-the-scenes clip from her dress fitting, Kerr explains how the dress was inspired by the gown which Grace Kelly wore at her wedding to Prince Rainier of Monaco in 1956.
The supermodel said: "Honestly, I couldn't have imagined a more beautiful wedding dress. When I was young, my grandmother told me, 'Miranda, men are very visual. It's important to look good'. I was like, 'OK, Nan'."
Kerr and Spiegel, 26, invited just 45 of their closest friends and family to the private wedding ceremony, which took place in the 'backyard' of their home. The couple's nuptials were extremely discreet - one member of the bridal party of course was Kerr's six-year-old son Flynn, whom she shares with ex-husband Orlando Bloom and served as the ringbearer.
TMZ previously claimed that Kerr serenaded her new husband with Shania Twain's You're Still The One at their wedding reception while a source told E! News: "Evan and Miranda looked at many different options for where they wanted to have their wedding, but their backyard was what felt most intimate and perfect. They kept it small with only those people that mean the most to them."
Other guests included Kerr's mother Therese, father John, brother Matthew and his husband James Kerr. The former Victoria's Secret model debuted her wedding ring for the first time on Instagram while backstage at the Moschino Resort Collection show just weeks after tying the knot.
Kerr and Spiegel, who has an estimated net worth of $3.4bn, met in 2014 at a dinner party in New York and began dating a year later.
