Missing Karl Law: Body recovered from River Vlatava after Hampshire man disappeared on Prague stag do
Czech police searching for missing builder Karl Law are trying to indentify a body they recovered from the River Vlatava in Prague.
The 35-year-old, from Hampshire, was on a stag do in the capital when he went missing on November 15.
Police recovered a scantily clad body on Sunday that they claim has been in the water for three to five weeks.
A Facebook page set up to help trace the father of one has got almost 15,000 likes. One comment posted on the page denied the body was that of Law.
"I'm telling you now! That is not Karl! Chin up peeps ! He's still out there! I've just seen photos of footwear and tshirt! It's not Karl #wewillfindkarl xxxx," it read.
Last week police confirmed there had been two reported sightings of Law on 16 November at the Palacky Square and the following day in the area of the National Theatre.
Prague police spokesman Tomas Hulan said: "In both of the cases he allegedly showed signs of intoxication of alcohol and some confusion."
