Missing Rihanna or Karrueche Tran? Chris Brown does not want to spend Christmas alone

It may be the season to be jolly but it looks like Chris Brown is not in the festive spirit.

The 26-year-old embattled singer has hinted there's no chance of a reconciliation between him and ex-girlfriend Karrueche Tran, revealing he will be spending the holidays alone.

In a reflective message to his 13.9 million Twitter followers, the New Flame singer admitted that being single over Christmas and the new year period "sucks". He later deleted the post.

Brown surprised fans earlier this month when he declared himself single at the Cali Christmas concert, telling the audience "F**k that bitch".

He later jumped on Instagram claiming Tran had cheated on him with Drake and had barely visited him in prison.

"I was locked up for damn near 4 months and only got 1 visit from you while u was hosting parties and taking secret trips to Toronto, going on dates with Drake!" he wrote.

"When this relationship first started u knew what it was and even participated in threesomes. I slowed all that s**t down. So let's not try to save face for public opinion because I don't need to play victim so people can take my side. All these celebrity n*****s ain't s**t and focus only on themselves. I made it clear to the world who my girl was and made your life equal to mine even at the cost of me not focusing on my career at times. So miss me wit the bulls**t. Now yall know the real," he added.

Although he later apologised for his expletive-filled rant, it looks like it was the final nail in the coffin for their relationship.

Tran, who said she ended their turbulent romance after growing tired of being "repeatedly mistreated", previously opened up about her struggle that has come with being the girlfriend of r'n'b bad boy Brown as well as the Brown and Rihanna love triangle.

"In this case my boyfriend is a celebrity whose ex-girlfriend is an even bigger [celebrity]... so not only am I fighting a battle with her, I'm fighting a battle with her 14 million fans or whoever else," she said during an appearance on Keke Palmer's talk show, Just Keke.

"The situation with Rihanna, you know the reason why people tuned into this so much was because it's relatable. I have girlfriends, I have family who's gone through the same situation. It's the case of the ex," she explained.

Amid their break up drama, Brown hinted he had Rihanna on his mind by sharing a picture the Diamonds hit maker snuggling with him and kissing him on the cheek. It received a little over 10,000 likes before Brown took it down without offering an explanation.
