'Modern goddess': Fans swoon over Emily Ratajkowski topless photo on Instagram

Emily Ratajkowski posted a series of photos from her steamy photo shoot with Allure Magzine on social media and fans are going gaga over it.

In one of the photos shared on Instagram, the 26-year-old model is seen posing topless, as she uses her hands to cover her modesty. She is seen wearing high-waisted blue jeans and her look accessorised with hoop earrings, hair perfectly tied up in a bun.

She captioned the post "Allure." The post has 566,897 likes and her followers have rushed to the comment section to praise her beauty. A fan commented: "Take my breath awaaaayyy <3," another called her: "Modern goddess."

"So stunning so beautiful," wrote a follower of hers. A fan even called her one of the greatest models and wrote: "You are one of the greatest models I've ever seen and cute as well." Another went as far as to say: "You're so beautiful that I think I just died."

The 26-year-old model appears on the cover of Allure magazine's August issue, in which she opens up about femininity and being a sex symbol.

"It really bothers me that people are so offended by breasts," she told the magazine, referencing the controversy that followed her nearly-naked appearance in the 2013 music video for Robin Thicke's hit Blurred Lines.

"That's when I realised how f****d our culture is. When we see breasts, we don't think of beauty and femininity. We think of vulgar, oversexualised images," she added. However, the model insisted she was just as happy to be recognised for her racy Instagram images and topless music video appearance, as she is for her work with Planned Parenthood.

She was quoted as saying: "I want girls to see that you can be whatever you want. Be as specific as you want. You can like this thing and that thing, and you don't have to feel like the world won't understand you."
