Moto G (2nd Gen) receives Android 5.0.2 Lollipop OTA update in UK and Germany [Download links]
Motorola has issued Android 5.0.2 Lollipop over-the-air update for the second generation Moto G users in the UK and Germany.
Last month the update was reported to be seeding for users in India, Brazil and the US. A similar software is now live for all users having Retail units in UK and Germany via OTA. As it is a phased roll-out, the update might not be available for all users at the moment, confirmed a user at the Motorola forum.
Update 2/11/2015: Select users on Retail UK and Retail Germany can now download and install Android 5.0.2.
Update 2/19/2015: 5.0.2 is available for all users on Retail UK and Retail Germany.
As always, updates roll out in waves - you may not be first.
Also - OTA (Over the Air) is the ONLY supported method of updating at this time.
EDIT - Alphadog here - rolling out in waves means that this could take a while - maybe days. If you don't get the update right away, nothing is broken.
Besides, several forum members at XDA confirmed they have received the OTA update.
