Forward rider Aleix Espargaro was the fastest during Friday's Free Practice 2 of the 2014 German MotoGP Grand Prix at the Sachsenring.

Practice Review
Espargaro had an impressive start to the German Grand Prix as the Spaniard was the fastest during both the practice sessions on Friday. He clocked a time of 1:22.170s in Free Practice 1 and was successful in managing to beat his best time in Free Practice 2, with a time of 1:22.041s.
Defending champion and Honda rider Marc Marquez, who finished sixth in the first session at the Sachsenring, was 0.117s behind Espargaro in second spot during Free Practice 2.
Yamaha rider Jorge Lorenzo was third, while LCR rider Stefan Bradl was fourth in front of his home fans. He would be hoping to impress the crowd on Saturday during the qualifying session.
Honda rider Dani Pedrosa and Yamaha's Valentino Rossi managed to finish in the top 10 as they finished the second practice session in ninth and 10th place respectively.
