Team Ducati rider Andrea Iannone finished the first day of the 2016 Dutch MotoGP on top after the Italian was the fastest during Free Practice 2 at TT Circuit Assen on Friday.

The third free practice session (FP3) starts at 8.55am BST, while FP4 begins at 12.30pm BST.

Overview
Team Ducati's Andrea Iannone finished the second Free Practice session in first place clocking 1:33.591s but will start last on the grid for Sunday's race as punishment for taking out Jorge Lorenzo at the Catalunya Grand Prix.
Defending champion Valentino Rossi of Yamaha had a good session clocking 1:33.595s and looked like he would finish first in the practice session only for him to miss out.
