MotoGP French Grand Prix 2016: Where to watch race live and qualifying review
Yamaha rider Jorge Lorenzo was the fastest in the qualifying session of the 2016 Le Mans Grand Prix on 7 May. The Spaniard stormed to take his first pole position at the Le Mans circuit for the fifth race of the season that takes place on 8 May.

Qualifying review
Reigning champion Jorge Lorenzo cruised to his first ever pole at the Le Mans circuit on 7 May setting a new lap record in the process. This in fact, was the 63<sup>rd pole of his career, one greater than his teammate and arch-rival Valentino Rossi who currently stands at 62.
The seven-time winner had a rough day finishing in seventh place while Honda's Marc Marquez and Ducati's Andrea Iannone finished in second and third place respectively with timings of 1:32.416s and 1:32.469s respectively.
