Qualifying review
Honda's Marc Marquez continued his terrific form at the Grand Prix of The Americas grabbing pole position on Saturday 9 April for the fourth consecutive year. A win here would leave the Spaniard unbeaten on US soil, since winning the Moto2 race in 2011, a remarkable span of 10 races across two classes.
Defending champion Jorge Lorenzo qualified in second place with a lap time of 2:03.257s, while seven-time champion Valentino Rossi finished in third, notching up his first back-to-back front row start since 2013.
