Motorola Moto G 2015: Purported tech-specs of smartphone surface via new leaked images and video
Motorola's purported third-generation Moto G smartphone had earlier surfaced briefly on Indian e-tailer Flipkart's online portal, and the handset was also rumoured to be launched as early as July 2015.
Now, new images and a video that apparently give details of the tech-specs of the Moto G (2015) have surfaced, and going by these, it seems that the third-gen Moto G will feature a 5in display and run Google's more recent Android 5.1 (Lollipop) operating platform straight out of the box.
The leaked images are courtesy of a Google+ post, apparently by a Chinese tech portal, quoted by Android Police. The newly leaked video was noticed on YouTube first by PhoneArena and Android Police.
The handset displayed in the above images is said to be of the new third-gen Moto G smartphone. The images point at the handset bearing model number XT1543. These smartphones are also shown to run Android 5.1.1 (Lollipop) out of the box.
The above tech-specs are seemingly confirmed by the video that hints at Moto G (2015) being codenamed Osprey by Motorola.
Key technical specifications that surface via the video are:
- 5in HD display
- Google Android 5.1.1 (Lollipop) operating platform
- 1.4GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor
