Moving on from Angelina Jolie? Truth behind Brad Pitt and Jennifer Lawrence dating rumours revealed

A sensational report recently claimed that Hollywood's new eligible bachelor Brad Pitt has once again found love in a fellow blonde beauty since splitting from Angelina Jolie in 2016. Linking The Fight Club actor to 27-year-old Jennifer Lawrence, a US tabloid went on to suggest that the pair has even been enjoying "lots of late nights together".

As it turns out, the latest gossip is just another tall claim in the series of whirlwind rumours surrounding Pitt's private life. "These are completely false reports," a source close to the actor was quoted by The Sun as saying.

According to the tabloid, Pitt, who has not admitted to dating anyone since his high-profile divorce last year, has "landed the woman of his dreams" in the Silver Linings Playbook actress.

"Brad has had his eye on Jennifer for years" and thinks "Jen is perfect", a source claimed in the report. Not only this, the unverified report also dished about the rumoured couple's date nights.

"Brad and Jennifer have been enjoying lots of late nights together. There's an intense connection between them!"

While fans are no stranger to the constant speculation about the 54-year-old actor's dating life, the latest report comes on the heels of Lawrence's split from her director beau Darren Aronofsky. After having met on the sets of Mother! the pair dated for about a year only to call it quits shortly after the release of their movie.

A source claimed at the time that the breakup was due to the difference in their age. "There is a huge age difference, and they are different people.

"Jen has yet to figure out her life and how it will evolve. He has responsibilities in life that she has yet to experience. Each was infatuated with the other," the source had told People magazine.

Meanwhile, JLaw is definitely not the first woman to have been linked to the War Machine actor since he returned to the singles' block. Previously, Pitt's name has been associated with several A-listers including actresses Sienna Miller, Ella Purnell and most recently Kate Hudson.

"That was the craziest rumour of all time. No, there's nothing true to that. As a matter of fact I hadn't actually seen him in, like, four years," Hudson had said laughing off the dating speculations.
