MTV VMAs 2015: Nicki Minaj performs and Taylor Swift wins Best Pop Video award for Blank Space

The 32nd MTV Video Music Awards show got underway with the usual glam and glitter in Los Angeles with Miley Cyrus as the host. The Wrecking Ball singer chose almost nothing for her big evening when she hit the Red Carpet. She wore two strategically placed silver straps to cover her nipples and coordinated them with a barely there mini skirt embellished with crystals and a pair of knee-high silver boots thus coming to the biggest event of MTV virtually naked.

Like last year, Anaconda singer Nicki Minaj opened the show. At MTV's star-studded music night, awards were given away to some of the biggest music artists.

Prior to the awards show, Cyrus had promised that she would mimic her looks from Instagram.

Cyrus, who promises the wildest night at the event, had already pulled off her boob-baring stunts during Jimmy Kimmel Live! which aired in the US on 26 August. "To be honest, I'm a little cold. You know, I would have worn a shirt—actually, I wouldn't have," she told Kimmel during the show.
