Overview
Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) will travel to Mumbai to face the Indians in their second clash of the 2015 IPL season. The George Bailey-led side will be keen to open their account after their opening game loss at the hands of Rajasthan Royals.
Punjab, who are the 2014 runners up, will be keen to emulate last season and make it to the latter stages of the competition, but will need star players Glen Maxwell and David Miller to step up and replicate their performances from last season.
Meanwhile, Mumbai Indians are also coming into this match following a loss at the hands of the 2014 IPL champions Kolkata Knight Riders in the opening game of the 2015 edition.
The Rohit Sharma-led side have generally been very strong at home, and KXIP will have their task cut out to beat the 2013 champions.
Sanjay Bangar's side have failed to beat the Indians in their last two fixtures at this venue and will be keen to set the record straight.
