NatWest confirms 'missing' customer payments

NatWest has confirmed that customer payments are 'missing' in what seems to be a major technical glitch.
NatWest, or National Westminster Bank, is one of the biggest banks in the world and the incident has caused many customers to express their anger on Twitter.
The NatWest Help Twitter account addressed the problems on 17 June. It said: "Some customer payments are missing this morning – we are investigating this issue as a matter of urgency... If you have been affected and need to access funds today, please contact us 03457 888444 or visit your branch."
Customers lost their patience with the bank, which experienced two major 'blackouts' in December 2013 as well.
#natwest meltdown again today, typically on my pay day, that's it I'm leaving

Missing? So just floating around in no-one's account? They certainly aren't in ours! #Natwest https://t.co/xztO4yGPd3
