New girl will return with its 5th season on 5 January 2016 Fox

New Girl season 5's premiere episode will be all about Cece Parekh and Schmidt's engagement party, which will also feature a Bollywood dance number. Fox has released the official synopsis for episode 1 titled Big Mama P.

Actress Anna George reprises her role as Priyanka Parekh aka Cece's mother, who will not approve of Schmidt as her son-in-law. The official synopsis for the episode reads as follows:

When Cece and Schmidt ask Jess and Nick to be their Maid of Honor and Best Man, respectively, their first task is to plan the engagement party. But when Jess invites Cece's mom to join in the celebration, Cece is forced to make a surprising announcement to Schmidt.

Premiering on 5 January at 8pm EST, the episode will feature a Bollywood dance number from Jake Johnson (Nick Miller) and Max Greenfield (Schmidt) and Lamorne Morris (Winston). The actors will groove to the tunes of Ooh La La Tu Hai Meri Fantasy from the Bollywood movie The Dirty Picture.

A promo for the episode shows them dancing to the song, as Hannah Simone says in another video, "Any moment that Jake, Lamorne, and Max dance is my favorite moment in the world. And in this wonderful season premiere, you get to see the three of them dance."

"And not just dance," she adds, "but Bollywood dance."

Other than dance, the episode will also find Cece making a surprise announcement to her fiancee Schmidt. Besides, a new promo shows the introduction of Megan Fox as the new roommate. The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles star will guest star as Regan, a medical sales representative, who is in town on business. She will rent out Jess's room.
