New iPhone 6 and iPhone Plus Cases: Drop-Resistant, Clear View and Much More
Last week, IBTimes UK rounded up some of the best smartphone cases available for the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus. This week, we've picked even more options for you to choose from. Check them out below.
Why should you protect your metal iPhone 6 with anything short of metal? In this spirit, we recommend the gorgeous Radius v2, which is made from aluminium, with the manufacturer promising no signal loss. It happens to be a cross between a bumper and a traditional snap-on case and features a design that will protect the corners and rear of your device from drops with a minimum of added weight or bulk.
Even though they haven't been around for too long, Silk Innovation has some promising cases for the new iPhone 6. There's the ClearView Slim case which features a clear polycarbonate back combined with a rubber side bumper. If you're looking for something a little bulkier, consider the Stealth Armor Tough case which uses a polycarbonate shell with a rubber core and comes with interchangeable back plates and a screen protector. Another good option is the Vault Slim Wallet, which is a soft-touch full-coverage case that can hold three credit cards.
If you're looking for an iPhone 6 case that you can customise, then consider Casetify, a company that lets you print Instagram photos onto 2.5-mm thin snap-style iPhone 6 cases. For those of you who aren't keen on using Instagram images, there's also an option to choose from a variety of pre-made designs.
Cases from this manufacturer feature a feather-light composite construction, armour shell, and impact resistant soft core. It claims that its iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus cases, along with all its other cases, have been certified MIL-STD810G - 546.6 compliant in meeting military drop-test standards.
We will keep updating this report with more cases for the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus as and when we spot them. If you've come across any solid cases yourself, please let us know more about them in the comments section below.
